2019 Wiyot Language Calendar

2019 calendars are here!

Introduction

Tearaway "word-a-day" calendars with one Wiyot word or phrase each day:

  • Paper tearaway calendars were provided to youth participating in Tsek Houdaqh, and to tribal offices.
  • You can use any QR code scanning app (such as "Q" for Android) OR the camera on your iPhone to scan the codes on the paper calendars. This will take you to a web page for that week's content, where you can hear each word spoken by a Wiyot speaker (Della Prince, Nettie Rossig, and/or Weaver Denman).
  • You can download printable PDF copies of the calendar pages to use at home; a link is provided on each week's vocabulary page.
