The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of government buildings, roadway repair and maintenance, and parks and Community Garden public area upkeep. The Department provides custodial services in keeping an office, building, area, residential facility, or other facilities clean and orderly. Public Works is responsible for Emergency Planning and response develops and maintains Tribal emergency plans and planning guidance. We do this by working with the whole community including: Federal, State Agencies. Local and Tribal Governments. The department is also responsible for Public Utilities: Water, Wastewater, Internet, electrical and Community Garden on Reservation Construction management and infrastructure projects and Tribal Historic Preservation.
