Wiyot Tribe Scholarship Program
The Tribe's own competitive scholarship encourages enrolled Wiyot Tribal members to continue their education beyond high school. The goal of this scholarship is to assist those who desire to pursue higher education. Scholarships are open to those accepted or currently attending recognized, accredited colleges, universities, and technical institutions. This scholarship is funded entirely through the Tribe’s Revenue Sharing Trust Fund (RSTF) and other funding agencies. Higher education students must be recently accepted or currently enrolled, attending full or part-time, have a 2.0 or greater minimum GPA, and must not have completed more than 150 college units.

Bureau of Indian Education Higher Education Scholarship
This scholarship program is a need-based financial aid grant, available to enrolled Wiyot Tribal members. The student must be accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and must have a documented financial need.
Enrolled Wiyot Tribal high school students who are graduating this year are required if they need finical aid to apply for FAFSA, a college-based finical aid requirement, California Pell Grant for California Students, and other Tribal and state grants, and all other sources of finical aid available. Verified financial need information is assessed through the college or universities financial aid office before the BIA can act on the student’s financial application.

BIE Higher Education Scholarship Application
Mary, Bill & Goldie Fund Scholarship through the Sacramento Regional Community Foundation
The Tribe has been receiving this generous fund since 2005. It is awarded to students accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or in a skilled job training program.
